We woke up this morning and got most of our things packed up before heading down to the tube with Hinn. We caught it up a few stations and went to a pub called to White Horse. We got a table and ordered some lunch and a beer, then ate and chatted together over a yummy lunch. (Mmmm honey fig and goats cheese salad!) After lunch it was time to say goodbye, as Hinn was heading out to go shopping, so we gave him hugs goodbye then the two of us headed back on the tube to his house. We finished packing and after a bit headed back out to the tube, where we took an hour or so trip out to Heathrow airport. We got there, then went and got refunds on our Oyster cards, then headed through to our terminal and lined up to get checked in. We had a bit of a problem when we weren't allowed to take our little guitar on board, so we had to nervously check it with the other one as fragile. It has only a soft case, so we're a bit scared about that one!! We went through security and out through the duty free to the pub where Darren got a drink and we waited a while. Darren bought some new headphones, as his had broken (again!!) then after a few hours, the sign said boarding was closing on our flight, so we hurried down to the gate where we seemed to be the last people checking in! We went in and got on the plane and found our seats. As the plane took off, taking us away from Europe, we were given hot towels, toothbrushes, socks, blankets, pillows, drinks, food and all sorts of things as we watched TV shows and movies and listened to music. I'm not exactly sure where to end this day, because we're changing time zones a few times, so I'll end it when I had a nap about halfway through our 12 hour leg to Singapore!
