We woke up a little hungover today after a bit of a sleep in, then chatted with Saumya for a while before she headed out to a friends house. Darren went down to grab some food from the chicken shop and I stayed home. After a bit the door buzzed, so assuming it was Darren getting back, I buzzed him in without checking... Then a couple of Jewish men came to the door. They didn't say hi or anything, only "can we come in?" which was so weird. I told them no one was home, and one of them told me he was the landlord coming to pick up some mail. So I let them in and they called Saumya to see where it had been left. Darren got back literally a minute later and as they were in front of me, the landlord answered the phone, which was also extremely weird. They stayed about 5 minutes, then as soon as they left, we called Saumya to make sure everything was ok with that. It was ok, but they shouldn't have been there without notice. So strange! Graham got home not long later, with their other housemate, Rosie, who were both very hungover. We chilled out a while, chatting, watching some youtube videos and drinking juice, then Graham brought in his laptop and some speakers and set it up to watch a football match. I snoozed a while as they watched the game then afterwards we chatted a while longer before Rosie headed off to pack up some boxes to take to her new flat. The landlord was selling the flat, so everyone had to move out by next week! So after she left we hung out in the kitchen while Graham cooked up some chili for dinner and prepared some eggplant for Saumya who was running late. When she got back she used it to cook up some baba ganoush. We got the seeds from a pomegranate with the help of a YouTube tutorial, then Saumya and Graham served up the delicious dip with warm flatbread and chili for the meat eaters. It sure was delicious. We ate, chatted and chilled out for a while, then Tamu came home, so we chatted with him a while, and kept hanging with him after the other two went to bed. We talked a lot about music and Kanye West and how **** he is, and ended up drinking some more beers and hanging out all night before eventually heading to bed.
