I was feeling quite a bit better this morning, with hardly any pain, so we got ready, had some bread picnic breakfast, then got in the car and drove out to a tiny town near Lüdenscheid called Altena, where they had a castle we were going to check out. This morning I woke up to a pretty bad pain in my kidney. I tried to wait it out, and managed to get back to sleep once, but the pain kept getting worse and woke me up again. It was so bad! When we woke up today we chilled out for a while and drank some tea then decided to go for a walk to find some late lunch. We walked up the street to a little cafe called Kitchen Club and after trying to work out the menu for a while the lady brought us one in English! Score!
