Today me and Fiona had our Neighbours Tour. We got picked up in town and then they drive u out to Neighbours land. We saw the school they used to film the school scenes at, however they r not allowed to use it anymore cause of rules about filming children. Cant say i really recognised it anyway. We also went to the studios where they film some random stuff, like the police station, hospital stuff, jail stuff and much more. When we went round the back we also saw the outside sets of the garage and grease monkeys. Here we also met the new Declan. Now i hate to break it to u people back home who wont find this out for another 3 months or so til u catch up but the guy who currently plays Declan has left to join the SAS and rather than get rid of his character as they had originally intended to they decided the character was too good and got someone else in to play him!! Dont know if i like this Declan as much, but we’ll see. We then headed off to Ramsay Street which is just a regular wee cul-de-sac in Melbourne. Took pics of all the houses and some pics with the ramsay street sign.

After the tour we went up the Sky Tower. It wasn’t the nicest day for it and i was a bit worried we wouldn’t be able to see much because it was pretty over cast however it didn’t matter as the cloud must hav been higher up and we could still see right across the city which was good, it just looked a bit greyer than the last time i was there.

That night we went for dinner with Eric, my housemate. We went to a Chinese on High Street. Now there was a queue but as Eric spoke to the girl in Chinese she sat us down straight away! We had some different dishes than we normally would pick but i really liked it! Even had desert which was a deep fried pastry thing with a red bean paste in it. It was very sweet, not my kind of thing at all so i didn’t eat much of it. Was nice to spend some time with Eric before i left.

Had to pack my rucksack when i got home which was a pain in the bum! Even tho i sent some stuff home i still seem to hav accumulated so much stuff! In the end i decided i couldn’t take my bottle of McGuigan wine home with me so i asked Fiona if she would take it cause she still had weight and space to use up. However she said she wouldn’t take it because it would smash in her bag!! I was totally raging gonna hav to either pay to send it home or just down it! However i did decide that after it surviving about 5 months with me i would just send it home because i wanted to drink it with my family. My rucksack is still over weight as is my hand luggage, just gonna hav to hope i get a nice check in person tomorrow!!
