So we arrived in Melbourne bright and early at about 7am. Our bus driver warned us that it was gonna be about 43 degrees today which is pretty impressive! Theresa was really good and came and picked us up which was a great help not having to get public transport to somewhere we'd never been. She seems absolutly lovely! When we got to their house we met Alec as well who also seems lovely. They are both just so friendly. Theresa even make us a cooked breakfast with a difference, it was on the bbq!! Was really yummy! After being fed Theresa sent us off to bed cause we were both shattered! Me and Beccy are in a room each with a double bed, total luxuary! Oh and Alec's dad is living with them as well which i didnt realise. Unfortunately he has cateracts and is a bit deaf so we kind of hav to shout at him and dont know how much he understands when we r talking which is a shame, but i try my hardest!

Did get back up early afternoon and had a shower cause i felt a rather manky after travelling for so long! And then we actually started our job hunting. Theresa helped me with a cover letter and printed off some cvs for me. She then took me and Beccy for a drive round the popular streets for bar and pubs where we handed out our cvs. Got about 15 handed out today.

We then went to meet up with Alec on the Southbank and went for a walk along there which was nice.
