So Connie had invited me up to her house for dinner tonight and to meet her family. So Connie hung about at work until 5 when i finished. However i'm so fed up with the mess i get left with on a tuesday so i left a few things undone for the weekend staff! However we still didnt manage to leave on time!! So Connie drove us up to her house and gave me the grand tour. They are still doing work on the house but u can tell its gonna be amazing when its all done! I just especiallu loved the big open kitchen with a breakfast bar and a coffee machine (am totally gettin a coffe machine when i finally grow up and hav somewhere to live)!!

So Connie's family consists of her husband Arthur and 3 boys, Matthew, Daniel and Michael (in age order, oldest to youngest). They were at football training (aussie rules, not soccer) when we got home, but came in soon after i'd finished my grand tour. The boys were so funny, giggling all the time! And i guess it was probably made worse because there was a new person in the house, u know wot kids r like lol! I hav also discovered that the boys r very gullable and clearly think that scotland is like another planet! They kept asking me what we call things and if we hav things! Now i couldnt resist winding them up when they asked me if we hav facebook, to which i replied no we actually use carrier pigeons instead and they totally believed me, was hillarious!! So we had a massive dinner oh bbq food and salad and a caserole as well. It all tasted so good and i was rather stuffed by the time we finished, was just so nice to have some nice home cooking that i didnt hav to make! We also had some nice red wine, it was kind of sweet but chilled which made it really nice!

After dinner the footie (aussie rules again) was on so the guys all went to watch that and me and Connie sat and had a wee bleather with the boys coming in and out. We then went to meet Connies friend, who also happens to be the sister of George, one of the owners of my work. We had some coffee and Georges sister (whos name i cant remember) showed me some pictures of George before he got ill, it was incredible how completely different he looked!! I could see from Georges face that he used to hav a nice round face, but when i saw the pictures of him before he was ill and could not believe just how different he looked!

So we then headed home at about midnight and the 2 of us were feelin quite tired so figured it was easier for me just to stay the nite there. Before we went to bed we polished off the last of the bottle of wine. However when Connie went to put me in Matthew's room but he had gone to bed in there rather than in his brothers room in case i had stayed. I felt really bad he had to get up and move for me!
