So today i went to see a couple of flats. They are both on the same tram line for me to get into work which is good. The first one was in Preston, its a smallish room with a single bed, but to be honest its not any smaller than wot i stayed in when i was younger! However its in a really mordern nice town house. The only thing that bothers me in there are patio doors frm the main bedroom into my room, however there were curtains up so hopefully it will be ok! I really like it and its only $90/week which is really good.

Had a bit of time between seeing the flat so me and Theresa (yes she came for a nosey and its great to hav a second opinion) So i treated Theresa to a coffee and i had a milkshake (think am starting to get an obsesion with milkshakes for some reason, mayb its cause am always making them at work!) Anyway we went to Williamstown, even tho we were aiming for Port Melbourne! However am glad we stopped there as it was really nice! It kind of reminded me of Largs in a weird way, just with all the wee cafes along the water front and just the feel of it! Oh but the weirdest thing, because we were sitting outside we had to give some form of id or bank card for them to hold in the cafe, must hav been in case we ran away without paying!! And when i went to pay she even tried to give me someone elses bank card, and i was like no i gave u my drivers licence, could hav totally taken that persons card for a wee spending spree if i wasnt so honest!!

The other flat is in Thornbury which is slightly closer to my work. However its sharing with an Indian couple and not to sound racist but it already smelt of curry and not sure if i could put up with it! It is also more expensive but does hav a double bed!

After having seen the 2 flats i decided that i really like the one in Preston so txt the guy to say i would really like to take the room! Fingers crossed i get it!
