So i was pretty tired after work today and figured i'd just stay in and relaz and hav an early nite. However friends of Theresa and Alecs had invited us all over and even tho i said i wasnt gonna go, Theresa kind of bullied me into going, however i was actually really glad i did go. I met some really interesting people. There was Alec and Theresa friends, their son and his fiance, and their friend and his wife. It was really nice chatting to everyone and meeting some proper Aussies!

The saddest thing tho was the friends of the son had just got married, but the guy has what seems to be, oh at the moment i cant remember what its called but it affects the nerves and he will prob only hav a few more years to live. It was really scary at dinner tho because he totally choaked on some food, but apparently this will happen more as the disease gets worse! Its the saddest thing. And his wife is so brave to be taking this on knowing how bad it could get, but its nice to see that their love for each other trumps over his illness.
