Happy Australia Day!! Was working today which kind of sucked cause i wanted to get out and see what was going on for Australia Day but never mind. I ended up coming back and going for a snooze. When I got up me and Theresa headed into the center because there was fireworks on later. We stopped off for a mixture of Chinese and Indian food in the Crown Casino which was pretty nice. We then wandered down the South Bank and then over to Federation Square where the fireworks were due to happen. We were there a bit early and managed to catch some music that was on the stage in federation square which was pretty good. The fireworks were also really cool, however fireworks never seem quite so impressive now i've seen the ones at new year in sydney!

It so happened that when i turned round after the fireworks the pub behind us was showing the Murray/Nadal match on so we went in to see the rest of it and had a drink. The match was really good and murray was doing really well and on his way to winning when Nadal had to retire because he hurt his knee or ankle cant remember which! Anyway he went through by default and even tho he was winning it would hav been nice to see the whole match through, but never mind!
