Today is a planning day: the aim is to work out a bit of a plan for my next country Chile and also to work out exactly what else I want to do in Bolivia. The weather has been so nice in La Paz and the only thing missing is a beach. In Rurrenabaque where the climate is even more tropical they have many swimming pools that I will be making use of. After lunch and some planning I decided to go for a walk in the sunshine, I tried a different route and found a really interesting park but unfortunately there was a charge to get in. It's really annoying here that all parks have entry fees - there is literally no public places, gardens or parks for the people free of charge - seems criminal to me. This afternoon Nyrzha's Aunty from America is coming around and as her English is very good I can enjoy chatting in my native tongue. Around 6pm Nyrzha's Aunty, Mother, Sister and Maid came around for a type of afternoon tea. They brought Bolivian Tamale known as Humintus, a number of different savory breads, cakes, slices and cupcakes and we basically just sat around chatting and enjoying all the delicious food. After everyone left Nyrzha wanted to go meet a friend for dinner but I was getting tired so decided not to join her. The rest of the evening I planned my next movements in Bolivia and looked at travel possibilities for Chile.
