Waking up today I already feel better and thank God no running to the toilet all night. My appetite is back and Nyzrah suggested taking one more solid day of rest and then hopefully by tomorrow I will be good to do some sightseeing. I really don't know how to thank my host Nyzrah for everything she has done for me but a start was making her breakfast in bed. The sun is out here so I went for a walk around the area (San Miguel) - it is incredibly scenic here being that we are situated in a valley and surrounded by moon like cliffs and mountains. I wanted to make my host something typically Australian and as she has a sweet tooth I went to the supermarket to see what ingredients I could get here in Bolivia. A bit of luck and they had all the ingredients to make Rum Balls (Condensed Milk, Cocoa, Des Coconut, Biscuits and I will chuck in some Raisens). My Grandma use to make these tasty treats around Christmas and I remember how quickly we would all demolish them. I had another typical Bolivian chicken soup for lunch and thankful it didn't react in my stomach. The soup is very basic with a bunch of vegetables boiled in a broth with some parsley, a couple of skinless chicken breasts added and something different when boiled: a roar egg is dumped into the mix and poaches up into small pieces. In the afternoon I met Nyzrah's brother and we headed into the city for a drive around. I am feeling like tomorrow I will be back healthy and energized and finally have a chance to explore downtown La Paz a little bit.
