Day 5 and still I have diarrhea - something is obviously not right and my stomach is being irritated. On Nyrzha's advice (she is a Dr) I took an Imodium and will try to go back to a very simple BRAT diet. In the morning we had to go get Nyrzha's phone fixed so we headed to downtown, on the way we stopped at my flight agency and amazingly they gave me a full refund on my Rurrenabaque flight. Whilst I was in the downtown I went and soar my tour agency for jungle tour and told them I was still feeling unwell and that it would be later in the week before I head to the jungle. I also decided to stop and get my haircut, the guy agreed to cut my hair for 50c and did an amazing job, but when he finished he insisted it was $6 - yup he was trying to scam me and I wouldn't have it, I agreed to give him $2.50 and not get mad about his behavior. I also decided to go have a chat to bike agency about Death Road Bike Tour - I organized for them to call me as soon as they had numbers so I could book. In the evening Nyrzha and I went to a friends place for dinner, Chorka and Antonio I had met before and there was a journalist from America there as well. Chorka lives just diwn the road fro Nyrzha in an incredibly beautiful apartment, she made a delicious chicken noodle soup that everyone was thankful for on such a cold night. My belly seemed to handle the food ok and I found out some really interesting things about Bolivia. We organized another dinner for when I return from the jungle and I have promised to cook something Australian for my new friends. Chorka also invited me to join her in Taria for her 4 day art exhibition, I would love to join her but really need to get up to the jungle before the rains start and the tours go on hold.
