Today was much like every other day this past week - I slept in, took it easy and then came up with something to keep me occupied in the afternoon. After I made lunch I headed to downtown to do some shopping and have a look around. The street markets are always absolute chaos but specially so on the weekends when every man, woman and dog comes to the city to sell their goods. I enjoy just walking around, finding interesting things and bartering for goods. I was on the hunt for avocado and came across a few little old ladies selling bundles of them on the sides of the street, doing my best I managed to pick up a couple for about 30 cents a piece. I also stopped by the bike tour company and confirmed my bike tour for Monday and my flight to Rurrenabaque on Wednesday. There was a huge group of musicians playing air instruments and drums in the main square for La Pazs foundation day so I stopped and listened a while. It was late when I got back and I was exhausted but happy that my energy levels were slowly returning to normal. Nyrzha arrived back late and wanted me to join her and her friends at the club tonight but I had to decline as I didn't want to risk drinking or making my stomach worse. I called it another early night and hoped I would awake tomorrow feeling better again.
