June and Mick's Retirement Trip
I stayed at home and read and swam.
Mick went cray fishing with Claude and some friends who owned the boat ( a commercial cray fishing boat). The photo was taken on Mick's tablet. Hence the glass reflection! They went about 35miles from shore to pull the pots out and then bait them and put them back. They pulled out 98 pots with an average of 10 crays per pot. You can work out the maths. Only 4 in 10 are legal to bring ashore. They had cray fish for lunch which was cooked on board and served with chilli sauce. They also saw a couple of big sharks swimming around. Up to this day Mick said it has been the highlight of the holiday.

Jenny & Kim What a great experience. Obviously to busy and enthralled to suffer sea sickness. Hope you didn't find any creatures while swimming!!
