A long drive to Port Hedland as we retrace our path on the way to the Pilbara. On the way we stopped for fuel at Pardoo Roadhouse where we found this albino peacock strutting around.

Our last day in Broome and at last a suitable movie for us to see at the Sun Pictures open air picture gardens - the oldest continuously running one in the World! The movie (Inside Out) was great and we enjoyed some jets flying low overhead just before the movie began. I enjoyed the geckos crawling on the big screen chasing insects.

Happy birthday to our twin cousins Oscar and Archer. To celebrate we had lunch at Matso's brewery where Mum and Dad shared a tasting paddle and we all had nice meals. Mum enjoyed the ginger beer best.

Another day looking around town which included a walk along the Broome jetty/pier where some container boats were being loaded. We saw a turtle and several queenfish from the pier and the views to the west were pretty.

After a long weekend in Victoria (but not here) it was back to schoolwork and a relaxing day after yesterday's big adventure. It was a cooler cloudy day but Mum and I went swimming at Cable Beach while Dad and Fraser tried to catch some whiting for dinner. No whiting but they caught a nice dart which saved them going hungry.
