Mum and Fraser paddled the kayaks from our caravan park on Cave Road all the way to the Busselton town centre - about 8.5 km around the coast of Geographe Bay. They saw more stingrays, some small fish and a few fellow paddlers on thier big trip as I ran along the beach, and Dad stopped in the car a couple of times for drinks and snacks. A relaxing day paddling along the beach near our caravan park in readiness for tomorrow (read all about it then). Dad snorkelled out into deeeper water in Geographe Bay and saw a very large stingray - later on some appeared close to shore in the shallow water so we finished paddling for the day. Oh, and our school holidays started today :-)

Finally back to the blog after a break while the Off Exploring server had some maintenance for a few days, We also had a bit of a break today having a shop in town and some fun time in the pool.

Today we went into town after lunch and walked to the end of Busselton Jetty which is almost 2 km long. It was popular for walkers and has a train which takes people out to the underwater observatory at the end. We deceided to enjoy the exercise on a sunny day and keep above the water (for a change). Mum and I made a warm chicken salad for dinner.

After some final shopping in Margaret River we drove north to Geographe Bay and the town of Busselton. It's a busy holiday destination with many caravan parks, but we are staying in one with a great water slide and 3 pools. There are even ducks and seagulls swimming in the pools when it's quiet with swimmers.
