We decide to stay in Exmouth a few more days while rain falls to the east of us in the Pilbara. We drive to Yardie Creek in the Cape Range National Park where Dad and Fraser complete the gorge walks while Mum and I paddle the kayaks up Yardie Creek as far as we can go. I really enjoyed the colourful cliffs and birdlife along the way. After a picnic lunch we spend a couple of hours snorkelling at Turquoise Bay on the way back to Exmouth.

Sally A lovely area, would love to paddle up the stream! Was it hard work?
Kath Sounds fantastic ... have you played mini golf at Exmouth yet?
Dad Pretty good paddling - amazing to head up the gorge to the east and out on the coral reef to the west!
Dad No shall leave the golf to you pros!
Alison Hi Guys, sitting here in 5 deg with rain falling, oh we bet you are missing Ballarat!!! Sounds like you are having a fantastic time enjoying this amazing country. We had just been reading about Ningaloo Reef, it sounds fantastic, & looking forward to visiting some day ourselves! How is the van holding up? We are getting itchy feet & looking at van options! Do you find the expanda ok? Can you believe you have been gone 6 months??? Your house is looking fine, never see anyone about though. I tried to send you a photo of the berries on your front trees as they were magnificent this year, but not sure if it got through, having phone trouble! Take care, Alii, Des, Connor & Ethan
Dad Thanks Ali - if the feet get too itchy we may see you and the boys soon!!!
