Today we visted the old jail at nearby Trial Bay and then continued along the coast to the lighthouse at Smoky Head. Mum and I saw a snake cross the path to the lighthouse so didn't continue on to enjoy all the views! Too windy for a swim today.

Another sunny day and even more time in the surf catching waves. Just near the caravan park is one of only 2 signal stations which remain in NSW. Twenty-one such stations were in operation to warn and guide ships in the 1800's.

Reminding us of camping at Port Elliot we check into a park at South West Rocks with great views from our site. The surf flags are up so we have a ball riding the waves for a couple of hours. This is the view from our site! When the flags are up it's crowded. Fraser described it as a mini bondi beach.

A day spent relaxing and fishing along the Nambucca River. No luck with the fish so we decide to walk along the beach which was very quiet for a weekend. Unfortunately they had packed up the flags which prevented us from a swim and bodysurf.

Past the Big Banana in Coffs Harbour and onto Nambucca Heads where we decide to stay for a couple of nights. Again things are very quiet and we enjoy the scenery along the coast. The colourful graffiti along the V Wall was interesting to explore and read.
