Having found a nice coffee spot we took Dad there for morning tea - things are much quieter with many heading home at the end of the long weekend .Fraser and Mum kayaked along the beach to the entrance of the Irwin River and saw a few stingrays. We later went fishing and caught some whiting for tea. Dad caught a hefty Western Buffalo bream which are not good eating.

We finally found a great coffee spot at South Beach with fantastic views. Later that day Mum and I went for a boogie board while Dad and Fraser fished in the ocean.

We spent the morning completing our schoolwork so Mum can post it off after lunch. While she went into nearby Dongara to do that we went fishing from the fishing platform along the marina breakwall. It was great fun and we caught lots of small snapper, tarwhine and tailor which were returned. Mum arrived to help and we headed back to the caravan park with plenty of herring and whiting.

Time to leave Point Louise as camping is only allowed for 48 hours. With the ANZAC long weekend coming up we have booked into the Big4 at Port Denison which is right on the beach, although when we arrived we found the beach to be a rockwall with waves crashing on to it. Fortunately good swimming beaches are nearby. A big harbour full of fishing boats reminds us we are at yet another crayfishing capitol of Australia!
