Today we left Albany for the the Porongurups which is a series of mountains near the town of Porongurup. We chose to walk up a mountain called Castle Rock which at the top of it had a granite sky walk. The skywalk was basically a boardwalk over looking the Porongurups. But to get to that point you had to climb up the mountain then up a 7 metre ladder {which is what the picture is of} to get to the boardwalk which hangs out over a 50 metre drop. It was great fun and after that we drove to Mount Barker which was about 15km away. We returned to Albany and had a swim in the pool - it was cold.
