We tried to go for a Boogie board today but the seas were very rough. Even the snorkelling beaches waves were too big to surf at with lots of rocky shoreline. We watched a number of boats (some far too small) cross the bar at the entrance to the Murchison River.

We left Geraldton for Kalbarri, a popular tourist spot for Western Australians. We arrived and setup and then realised we were next to friends we had met in Port Dennison from Culburra Beach NSW (yes Allan and Glenys they’re keen fishers). Off to the pool we went,
