Sadly we leave Denmark and head back to Albany for a couple of days. Dad and Fraser drove on to Bremer Bay for big adventures tomorrow leaving Mum and I to live it up for a peaceful day or so.

A sunnier day which began with bacon and eggs and some schoolwork. Mum and I went shopping while Fraser and Dad went birdwatching around Lake Sepping (they now have 100 species recorded for the trip). After lunch we went kayaking, swimming and fishing in nearby Emily Cove which was very relaxing. T-bone and sausages for dinner:-(

Despite being the end of a long weekend (Labour Day) we were required to leave our site at Emu Point so we headed to Middleton Beach a couple of kilometres away. Here's a photo of the day Mum and Dad stayed here in their tent in May 2001! Glenys the code to the family bathroom is still the same - and we have it!!!!! :-)

Well there goes summer and a couple of showers arrived to confirm it. More markets (this time at the Harbourside boat sheds) and of course a coffee. We enjoyed a walk around Emu Point in the afternoon and finished the day with dinner at the Squid Shack.

Today we went to the farmers market in the morning. Later we went to the National Anzac Centre and other sites in the Albany Heritage Park. The interactive screens and historic photos were very interesting about the World War 1. We also walked along the Convey Walk. We got to see where the ships that transported 42,000 men left for Gallipoli. The centre opened in a November 2014 exactly 100 years after the soldiers embarked for the Middle East and Gallipoli.
