After a better nights sleep I was ready to pack up and go. Unfortunately, the early morning dew slowed me down. Checked my exit strategy & put the X-Trax & the spade in the car - just in case. However, had no problem in LL. Reached Rocky by noon where I had lunch & continued on to Biloela (pronounced BILWEELA) for coffee. Camped at a rest area near Thangool. Did over 400 k's today without too much stress.

Last day here & have really enjoyed the stay. Pottered around doing not much. The tidal range amazes me & I never tire of walking the beach. Changed the air filter - a used one is better than the one used on the Cape. Back to the real world tomorrow.

Had a beautiful relaxing day after a tough night - head was a real pain for most of it but by morning it was just a memory. Refilled the gas bottles, packed ip & was on the road by 8.30! Target was somewhere short of Mackay. Had breakfast in Ayr (strange place lots of shops but few cafes) & coffee in Proserpine. Had an in-depth discussion on the youth of today with a woman whose table I shared. Decided to camp either in the Cathu State Forest or Boulder Creek.
