Had a beautiful relaxing day after a tough night - head was a real pain for most of it but by morning it was just a memory. This is likely my last opportunity for a perfect camp this trip so I expect to stay a further night.
Garry is expecting me on 7 July so the timing is good.
Was settling in for a night by the fire when a vehicle turned up near the campsite in a sandy area. Knew once the engine revved - he was stuck! After 10 minutes of not much happening I asked him if he needed any help. His English wasn't great but I gathered the answer was no so I wished him luck & went back to my fire. After a further 15 mins clearly he had a problem so I got my X-Trax & shovel & offered to help.
Finally got him out and he was very grateful. Wanted a picture of us together & to exchange names & email addresses! Have to get out of here myself later - hope someone is around to help if required.
Highlight was having someone think I knew what I was doing.
