Lazed around some more after huge servings of roast pork & all the trimmings. During my stay in JW lost badly at tennis & golf but won at soccer & bowling! Watched the 3 Focker movies & realized it is time to begin the trip home.

Just chilling. JW is a laid-back coastal community that is a haven for boat enthusiasts & those who enjoy a simpler life. I know I like it. Tried out the local pub restaurant & had a good time. Need to depart either Monday or Tuesday unless 'asked to leave' earlier.

Slept great - bed soft & temps well above zero. Had a choice & the camper lost! Very lazy day - can't even remember what I did.

Canvas is not suited for sub-zero temps & last night was one of those. Was all rugged up etc but it was just too cold! Packed up once my feet developed feeling only to find that a tyre on the camper was flat. After a tyre change & a hot shower I was good to go. It was a slow trip with many roadwork delays (one was 40 mins) & a lot of trucks going the same way. Used a lot of tollways so will receive a nasty surprise I'm sure. Arrived at JW around 2....

Was not prepared for the cold & had a particularly bad night. Slept very little & the body was full of aches & pains. Up at 5am & was on the road by 6.30 (with the heater on full blast!). Had full breakfast at Eidsvold before continuing on to Nanango which leaves only about 240 k's to do tomorrow. It's going to be very cold tonight so have every blanket pressed into service! Maybe Melbourne won't be so bad!
