Departed J's at 7.30 amid heavy mist & fog. The views over Lake Tinaroo were spectacular. As it was only 120km to Mt Malloy to meet up with S&Y, I was able to check out the Danbulla Forest including the Cathedral Fig & Mobo Creek Crater. Stopped in Tolga for coffee & again in Mareeba (CoffeeWorks) - both places lived up to the recommendation. Arrived at Mount Malloy around 12.30pm & began setting up camp. S&Y together with his brother & wife, arrived 15 mins later - good timing!
Had a great BBQ meal at the pub which was the highlight of the day.
