Left the Lion's Den about 9.30am after bidding D&T goodbye. They promised to include me in their 'We were here' message on the Lion's Den wall!

Headed off to drive the Bloomfield Track. At Wujal Wujal crossed the improved Bloomfield River Causeway which seems more of a bridge than a causeway.

The track at the northern end has very steep climbs & dips & requires low range. However no problems thus far & the drive is fun! Lots of traffic but mostly well behaved.

Spotted a great camp site after only 40 km's or so & decided to layover! Not sure that I'm allowed to camp here but I am & it's great. Had half a kilo of prawns for dinner & now kicking back with a magnificent fire - don't think life can get much better!

Highlight is camping in a rainforest without another soul around.
