After a good night's sleep the camp pack up was interrupted by a whole convoy of vehicles crossing Canal Creek going north. It was good fun watching! Especially one with camper trailer. The guy chose a different line to the rest & did it well.

Let the others go on ahead & I would join them at Eliot Falls which was only a few km's up the track.

Twin Falls comprises Eliot Falls & Indian Head Falls. They create a most picturesque place. Had a swim & took lots of pics.

Back to the bypass road & on to the ferry across the Jardine River. Cost was $88 for car & $11 extra for camper. From there only 45km to Bamaga. Headed straight to Loyalty Beach campground & booked in for 3 nights. Good campsite in shaded area close to shore.

Went to Sesia to buy dinner (hot chicken) & a few odds & ends. Note Old Jamaica chocolate cost $7.50. Pleasant evening planning our assault on the Tip. May use only 1 or 2 vehicles.

Highlight was watching the cars cross Canal Creek.
