In the morning S & I tried to locate 3 aircraft crash sites near Bamaga. Only located one of them but it was very interesting. Forced to abandon search when the track became impassible.

Helicopter flight over the Cape was brilliant! The 30 min flight provided a great perspective to the Cape and the many islands around it.

Game 2, State of Origin football was on tonight & the loyalty Beach resort were showing it on a large screen near our camp. S & I watched the game, had a beer, a sausage & mourned Qld's loss.

Tomorrow heading for Vrilya Beach on the west coast of the Cape & should be a fairly easy day. Our stay at Loyalty Beach has been memorable.

Highlight was the chopper flight.
