We took the scenic train up the mountain to Kuranda. Through 15 tunnels and 37 bridges what a spectacular view. We stopped at the waterfall and had time to get off and take photos. We spent the day in Kuranda at the markets and I bought myself a dress. I loved the Butterfly House - it was so peaceful to watch all the different types flying around.

We lunched on homemade pies and then came back down the mountain via sky-rail. This takes about 45 minutes as you travel down above the treetops. Was a little scary especially over the posts but I'm glad I did it.

My ankle is a bit swollen after all the walking but nothing major.
