Continued. Just three quick views of his fin before he disappeared. We spent the rest of the day alternating between sailing and chugging on the engine. It was a great evening we arrived at 21.00 after a 60NM trip just in time to see an amazing sunset. The next day we should have been going over to Ystad in Sweden but woke to strong winds F5/7 with waves breaking over the harbour walls and an evening forecast for F9 44 knots. The book says F9 A Strong Gale will cause slight structural damage to buildings so we doubled the mooring warps and stayed put. The wind was not quite so bad but still not a nice day to go sailing so we took our bikes to the White cliffs of Mon and had an enjoyable shore day. Tomorrow is liking good with a F 5 decreasing in the evening so fingers crossed.
