Today we both had a sleep in after last night's late night! With nothing planned for today we played some card games with the other volunteers whilst the power was out again. Later on we walked to one of the malls and had some chicken and chips, from the chain 'Chicken Inn' for lunch (at about 3:00). We went on the hunt for some nice pineapple from the street vendors but unfortunately couldn't find any that looked too appetising.

We came back and the power was still out so we watched a movie on the laptop - halfway through the power came back on again so we quickly tried to charge our phones - and then of course the power went out again! But then it came back again so Kate took the opportunity to finally have a shower (as she didn't fancy the idea of a cold shower, even though she has had a lot of them on the trip so far!).

Dinner was french fries. We both didn't fancy french fries after having them for lunch so we did our own eggs on toast.

Early night tonight as we are going to the equator tomorrow and have to leave at 6am!
