Onward to Townsville today after a coffee at the nearby cafe and a walk along the beach. Stopped at the ‘Big Mango’ for a mango sorbet and a photo starting the collection of photos of the caravan at the ‘Big’ things. Hopefully get the Pineapple and Banana on the way home! (I think there are more big things. More research needed) Lunch at Ayr before arriving in Townsville at about 3:00pm. Set up and went back into town and up Castle Hill in the car unlike dozens of people that were either riding, walking or running up to the summit! A great view of Townsville from the top as the sun was going down. Drove along ‘The Strand’ before returning to the caravan for dinner and being beaten at Scrabble for about the tenth time this holiday even though I scored a personal record 66 for QUIET with a triple letter score on Q and a double word on T.
