I woke today just before the airport curfew which I assume is 6:00am as shortly after about 4 planes thundered overhead causing the caravan to vibrate. Lake Moogerah was a nice camp and we had lots of bird life around, Rainbow Lorrikeets, Magpies and even some Pelicans. We lazed around most of the morning as it was warm in the sun but eventually decided to move on so we booked in to a caravan park at Tweed Heads South and drove for a couple of hours to get there. Today we didn’t don the Terry Towelling hats until 9:00am, a late start for us.
