Paul and Lisa's 2019 Caravan Adventure
Today we didn’t don the Terry Towelling hats until 9:00am, a late start for us. Parked (rather appropriately) at the local bowls club and went for a bike ride along the Macintyre River, which is the border between N.S.W. and Qld. here. We rode past a huge flock of Carellas and eventually to the statue of the great racehorse Gunsynd who’s owners came from here. Onward then to Warwick and crossing the mountains (it was nice to see mountains again) and down towards the Gold Coast, stopping for the night at Moogerah Lake at a park, but we chose to be in a non powered area, miles from anyone else, down by the lake. Had a nice campfire, the first since Coonabarabran.
