Beside the caravan park is the creek which the hot springs bubble up into. Upstream it was cold, then there is a warm section followed by scalding hot water (well it felt that hot anyway but our skin came out unburnt). It is shallow and has a sandy bottom so we stayed here for a bit before going back to the pools to avoid all the hot and cold spots.


We drove onto our next spot choosing to stay at Bedrock Village where the boys found a dirt mound to play in right next to our camp. It kept them happy for hours.
