Today we went on the Kuranda Scenic Railway Train which was good and even better because it was quiet so we had plenty of room to ourselves.


We had a quick walk through the markets because we got tired of telling the kids to stop touching everything.

We went to the Bar & Grill and each had a burger for lunch – Matt having his usual "barra burger" and I tried the “emu burger”. It was quite sweet and dry as it is such a lean meat. It was enjoyable enough but I've definitely had nicer burgers.

For the return journey we got on the gondola's and this was my favourite part of the trip and the boys loved it too.




We had our first swim in the resorts pool this afternoon, unfortunately it is the coldest day we have had here so we ended up in the spa pretty quick.
