Quiet start to the day - watching vans depart and arrive at the campground. Eventually we made our way up to the Town Centre and joined the Spear and Boomerang Throwing at 11am. Mum, Renee & Eamon woke up at 5.15am for pick up at 5.50am by the AATKings bus for "The Rising Sun - Anangu Aboriginal Experience". It's incredible to think we are here 2 weeks after leaving Sydney, but it's back out to Uluru this morning with our bikes for a ride around the base - it's about 10km and very easy riding - quite a few walkers asked for a ride! We didn't climb the rock - the indigenous request people not to out of respect for their land. A very busy day today once we arrived at Ayers Rock Resort this afternoon. The kids enjoyed participating in a Cultural Dance Workshop where Renee learned the emu dance for ladies, and Eamon learned the kangaroo dance for the fellas.
