3 days was about right for our time at Coober Pedy - we saw all the sights and had a nice break.
After filling up the water tanks and petrol tank (again!) we were off on the drive towards the centre of Australia. Not much to see in this part - we saw 2 wild horses and a handful of cows, but some beautiful carpets of yellow and violet wildflowers and lots of the Sturt Desert Pea (red) flower.
Lunch and photo stop at the NT/SA Border and an hour or so later we made it to Erldunda which is on the corner of the Stuart and Lasseter Highways. This caravan park had a herd of emus next door, and we took advantage of the mini-tennis court to have a bit of a hit followed by a beverage at the tavern.
Looking forward to a number of days at Uluru coming up!
