Last night, we opened some windows and thought there might be some noise from the highway, but felt it would be worth it - the southerly change had come through and we wanted some fresh air rather than air con. After packing up this morning, we departed Port Lincoln and headed to Port Augusta. An uneventful day, except for the temperature which was above 40 degrees most of the time. After a nice sleep in this morning, we took a drive over to Coffin Bay, home of the oysters that we often see on seafood menus in restaurants around Australia. In the Coffin Bay National Park, we stopped first at Templetonia Lookout with superb views to many of the surrounding islands. Another very hot day today, so first thing was for the children to cool off and jump off the jetty a few more times! Then it was time to leave Venus Bay and continue south down the Eyre Peninsula. We had a very exciting adventure planned for today - swimming with the Seals and Dolphins!
