Sunday 16th April Last Day with mummy  Had loads of errands to run. Was soo chuffed that we managed to find a single ring cooker thingmy- so bring on the healthy cooking from now on! We bought loooadsa veggies and fruit. Went to a really nice Borneo gift shop and bought some last min prezzies for mum to take home. Got a delicious lunch in the Hyatt café. Georgie was supposed to be heading back to Ranau straight after but told us that she was still feeling pretty awful and her antibiotics were gona run out the next day. So we persuaded her to stay another night and get a docs appointment for the next day, which she did. Mum and I bought even more batiks- they're just gorgeous- then finished the strenuous packing. It all fit in-woo!! Went for cocktails and watched a film on the tv together. I wrote some last minute letters and postcards for mum to take home then we said goodnight for the last time. :-( Was starting to dread the next day.
