Here we are again! We have made it back to the motherland. Today we woke before the sun (just) to prepare for the long day of travel ahead. After a heartfelt goodbye to the sweet pusses (and a scare from Nomi who decided today was a good morning to be a little spewy) the taxi arrived and we headed to the airport. Today was the last day of our stay in Japan. We got up at around 8am and finished stuffing our bags before having our last breakfast of soup, toast and tea at the hostel. We had decided to move our bags to Tokyo station first thing in the morning and then spend the rest of the day re-visiting Shinjuku and Shibuya. Last full day in Tokyo and Japan so we tried to make the most of it. We finally got up early (6am) enough to make it to the Tsukiji Fish Market. Well, this morning we had planned to get up early and go to the fish market but we must've been more tired than we thought because we both slept through the 6am alarm.
