Last night we decided to head out for a few drinks in Kochi before dinner. First up we went into a small corner bar called Jack's Bar. It had a very homey feel inside and lots of memorabilia from different countries around the world such as USA and Australia. After a bit of a sleep in today we climbed out of bed, dressed and headed out into the surprisingly not so cold Kochi morning. We enjoyed some coffee and chocolate croissants at one of my favourite cafes, Choco Cro. We then headed over to Kochi castle. We were able to explore the gardens but unfortunately the castle was closed until the new year which was quite a shame as it looked like a very nice understated castle. Today we left Himeji and made our way by train to the island of Shikoku and the town of Kochi. The train journey took about 3 hours. Shikoku seems be quite mountainous and there was a lot of beautiful scenery on the train ride over. We even went through some falling snow and we got super excited that it would be snowing in Kochi.
