Today we tried to go to the owl cafe in Tsukishima. We didn't get up any earlier but we made the 25min journey there and arrived at 10:30am only to discover that it didn't open until 2pm. Hmmf. There isn't much else to do around Tsukishima so we hopped back on the train and went to Ginza.

We browsed through the shops for a while and started playing the game where each of us takes a turn to decide what we are going to do next and the other person has to agree with whatever is suggested.

At one point I suggested we go have a look at the Kabuki theatre which in turn ended up as us going to see an act of Kabuki. The act was saw only went for half an hour and was about a man who fell in love with a courtesan and when she died he went mad with grief. I think I mostly understood the dance although I'm glad it only went for half an hour. We had standing tickets as well so that was more than long enough.

After the theatre Shannon attempted to get us to Shibuya but the train took us on an unexpected detour and it took us about half an hour to get back on track.

In Shibuya we browsed through some more shops but didn't buy anything. On one of my turns I took us to the Dubliners, a bar we went to last time. We stayed there for a few hours enjoying some drinks.

At around 8:30pm we ventured back outside to find some dinner. We ended up in a ramen bar where the ramen had thick udon like noodles. Still very tasty.

We are now back home in our warm room watching some shows on the iPad. I think we are going to activate our JR Rail Pass tomorrow and go on a day trip to Yokohama.
