Today was the last day of our trip and we tried to make the most of it before we headed to the airport. We awoke to the alarm at 7:30am and got ourselves and our things together for the last time. We dropped the key back at reception and dragged our bags to the metro. We caught the train to Hong Kong station where we used the in-town check in. It was pretty awesome! Happy New Years! Although today was a little bit unhappy to start with. When Shannon and I awoke we both immediately realised that we were hungover. Today we awoke to Shannon's alarm at 9am and proceeded to get ready for the day. We stopped at the bakery near the station to pick up some breakfast before hopping on two trains to get to our destination, Tung Chung. From here we were planning on getting the cable car up to Ngong Ping. First though we ate our breakfast on a bench seat and then followed the crowds towards the cable car. We did a lot of walking today and my feet are pretty sore right now. It was a great day though. It started with us awakening to Shannon's alarm at 9am.
