Today was our last day in Kobe and we had set the alarm for 8am so that we could go to Arima, an onsen town in the mountain ranges of Kobe. Unfortunately we didn't quite make it out of bed at 8am so we decided to change our plans and stay down in the city instead. We had a grand day in Kobe today and I like this city even more now. We woke up a tad late at 10am and we were a bit sore and stiff from the hard bed but we were keen to get out and explore the city some more. We started with a walk to the station and a delicious bakery breakfast where I had a most fresh sandwich. After that we caught the subway one stop to get to the base of the Kobe Ropeway. We moved house again today from Nagoya to Kobe. We had a plan last night to take our bags to Nagoya Station in the morning and leave them in a locker, spend some time doing things in the day and then head to Kobe around 4:30pm. We slept in a bit again this morning because we have both been sleeping fairly restlessly at this hostel in part due to uncomfortable beds as well as noisy fellow patrons.
