Today we flew to Tokyo!! We were up before the sun at 4:30am where we had time to quickly get dressed before kissing the pusses goodbye and bustling into the taxi. We were on a tiny 48 person plane from TSV to CNS and then after a fairly long and boring stopover in CNS we got on the plane.

Eight hours later and we touched down in Tokyo! A smooth exit out of the airport and onto the express skyliner train, we made our way to our home town for the next 10 days, Ikebukuro, and our hostel slash hotel, Sakura Hotel. Our room is pretty small and barely has space for our bags but the bed seems comfy and we have a private bathroom.

After dumping our bags we quickly headed out to find some ramen which didn't take long. We enjoyed a creamy pork broth ramen which we thought was a good start to our ramen journey. We went and played the coin game and a few arcade games after that before heading back home to rest up for our first full day back in Japan!
