Today Mel and I went to Top of the Rock which is part of the Rockerfeller Centre. It has a good view which was probably better than the Empire State Building's view and the line was so much shorter. I wish we had just done the Top of the Rock instead of both. Today we went on the Staton Island ferry and went past the Statue of Liberty. It was free so it was very good value ;) It didn't go right up close to the statue but it was close enough for me. Happy New Year! We went to TGI's for New Years. It was a lot of fun and we danced the night away. When it got to 11:30 we went up and out onto the street for the ball to drop. When it actually came down to the ball dropping I missed it completely because I was too distracted by everyone around me. It was a good atmosphere though.
