This morning seminar was different because Ingram wasn't there. I was a little sad, but not too sad. For the class we were supposed to read this 24-page thing about the BBC (British Broadcast Company) so we could talk about it and discuss it, which we did for about 20 minutes and then because half the class hadn't read it we had to read it for the rest of the time. I didn't like reading it all that much the first time so I was too thrilled with getting the opportunity to reread it. After class I went to the computer lab to work on some modeling stuff before my digital media class. The guy that was in there with me named Tom was cool. He was asking me how I liked it here and if I missed home at all. For workshop that day we had to create Bambi and then the next week we are going to animate her. It was really challenging and I had to redraw the head about 10 times because I couldn't get the points and stuff right. The whole time during class they were talking about sexy fest 2 which my professor was putting on that night at a club called po na na. They tried to explain to me what it was, but I didn't really understand and thought I would just go and check it out. I came home and Elli was having this huge thing about the dishes so I was like fine - I will wash them up!!! And then after that I was finally able to make lunch and ate with James. Elli told him to wash his stuff when he was done and then he started making faces behind her back and I was like see now you know what I am talking about. There is also this thing going on right now with people drinking other people's milk and while Viv was gone over the weekend someone ate her food. So we have these nasty notes on the fridge right now. I just eat my own food, how hard is it to just do that? Sometimes I don't understand. Drama Drama. Then I had play practice. It was kind of fun just sitting around talking to the other people. It is fun getting to know them. Tom has an obsession with chocolate. He was telling about all of his favorites and I should try this and that and I was getting confused and told him to write them down for me. So I have a decent list of chocolate that I HAVE to try while I am here. The other people were giving their inputs while Tom was writing so it wasn't all his favorites. I got home from practice and worked on some stuff. I really wanted to find out what Sexy Fest 2 was all about so I thought I have to go check this out. It was at this club called po na na. I thought it started around 9, but when I got there at 10 I was one of the first people there so I talked to a guy named Martin that I recognized from my class and a couple of his friends. I wasn't really having that good of time and there weren't a lot of people there. Oh, for your information Sexy Fest 2 was a night where my professor Paul and Graham another professor are DJ s for the night. They just play a bunch of cheesy music and went around handing out free stuff and also gave everyone nametags but you had to make up who you wanted to be for the night. I still don't understand why it is called sexy fest but anyways. I was standing there by Martin and his friends when I saw Ben at the bar (Ben is an exchange student who was at MSUM first semester) with his friend Nick. So I ended up talking to those two and had a really good time. I hadn't talked to Ben too much since I had been here and Saturday night at Scream I wasn't really sitting by him so it was easier to chat here. I met Nick who is one of his best mates and Nick is pretty cool. He is kind of sarcastic at times and quite bitter about his recent breakup with his girlfriend. He told me that he makes cards which I thought was sweet; I haven't met a lot of guys who make cards for special occasions instead of buying them. It was great getting to know Nick. I had met Nick a few weeks earlier when I ran into Ben and Nick is also in my Digital Media class. We did talk about class for a little while and the upcoming project that I have yet to start or figure out what I am doing for it. He said he would help me though if I needed it, which is good. At one point I had considered leaving around 11 and next thing I knew it was 1:30. Oh my gosh I have to get to bed. I haven't been feeling well so I wanted to get a lot of sleep. So much for going to bed early. When I got home I talked to the flat mates for while and then Sara who is in Australia was on Skype so of course I had to talk to her because it is rare when we are on at the same time due to the 10 hour time difference. She said good night to me and I said good day.
