Today was kind of a long day. I woke up at 7:20am. I really didn't feel good this morning but I felt a little better than yesterday. I was ready by 8:20 and downstairs by 8:23am. My group members were supposed to pick me up at 8:25, it think it was 8:35 when they finally got here and I was really cold from standing outside. I am sick of them being late. The last time we had to meet for something they were 10 minutes late too! So we drove to the school and stood in the entryway while all the kids walked past up on their way to the cathedral with their little hymn books. We finally were told to go to the cathedral and got to sit through their assembly for the morning. The teacher talked about having good food and clothes and water and being able to share feelings and thoughts and such with family and friends. She also talked about bringing in their pound the next day to help UNICEF and how they would each help 20 people by bringing in their pound. Then we got to sing with them and it was our turn to speak. The other three group members spoke about the project and didn't even ask me if I wanted to add anything. I was kind of hurt because I had wanted to. They didn't even call me to work on it during the week and I thought that I could at least say my name and hi but Chris introduced all of us. I don't know if they think I am stupid or something but I am not and I have never felt so hurt or excluded. And they told Bryan they were excited to have me in their group. After the assembly we left. I was very depressed...what a waste of my time I could have stayed in bed. And I was so excited to go. I don't know about this project. I found out that we are meeting every Friday with the kids at 4pm. This sucks, because if I do want to travel and take a long weekend I will miss out and even if I stay here its in the middle of the day on a day when I have nothing else scheduled. What a pain. We were walking back to Laura's car and they told me that I had a good singing voice that made me feel good but not really. When we got to the car, I asked if I could walk home because I like steep hill, there are a lot of fun shops on it. I really enjoyed myself. I bought this roll thing in a bakery but I forgot what it was called. I found some more postcards to send people. I walked around in areas that I had never been before including this market place; I also stumbled upon some other cute stores. I am an idiot that forgot to bring black socks to wear with my black pants and shoes and this particular day I was wearing white socks with black pants and shoes. I found some cheap black shoes - three pair for 2 pounds so I bought them. I had a lot of fun walking around....I walked around for a little over an hour and then I started to get cold. So I went home because I still was not feeling that well and I had only gotten a few hours of sleep. I took a nap from 12 until 2:30. I had to get up and get ready for class. First I went to the atrium to get some food cuz I didn't have much left here and then I went to talk to Paul my professor before class, I really like this class. It is closest to my major back home. Right now we are working with DVD studio pro and next week we are going to start working with MAYA, which is an animation program. During class today we watched some music videos and animation things and such to get ideas for our projects and then we did project proposals. Mine is still in the beginning stages and I am not quite sure what to do with coming into the class halfway through the year so I don't have to present till next Friday when the final presentations are due. After that we did some menu stuff in DVD Studio Pro. Oh did I mention that my favorite fellow student Ingrid is also in this class? I didn't notice him last week but he was there this week - I am even more excited for this class now!!! Paul is a cool teacher I really like him and this class. After class I went to practice for an hour. It was ok. I didn't really want to be there tonight but its ok. I came back to my room and wanted to go on the Internet, but it was being stupid. And I don't have a whole lot else to do in my room. I ended up watching TV in Elli's room with her for about an hour and a half. We watched this one show, I forget the name but its kind of like CSI and we ate biscuits too, they are kind of like cookies. I went to bed early - somewhere around 11 and slept sooo GOOD!
